菩薩外家去迦維羅閱城（晉言妙德）八百里。姓瞿曇氏作小王主百萬戶。名一億王（出十二遊經。釋迦託生王宮譜稱一億王。次釋少王下。又云菩薩母名摩耶。難陀母名憍曇彌。即大愛道也）。

The Bodhisattva's maternal family was eight hundred li away from the city of Kapilavastu (translated in Jin as 'Wonderful Virtue'); their surname was Gautama, and he ruled as a minor king over one million households, named King Yiyi (from the Shi'er you jing. The 'Genealogy of Śākya Entrusting His Birth to the Royal Palace' calls him King Yiyi, placed next beneath King Śākya the Younger. It also states that the Bodhisattva's mother was named Māyā, and Nanda's mother was named Gautamī, who is Mahāprajāpatī).
