設有億姟神武備　為魔如汝來會此
矢刃火攻如風雨　不先得佛終不起
魔有本願令我退　吾亦自誓不虛還
今汝福地何如佛　於是可知誰得勝

"Even if there were a hundred billion spirit armies in battle gear / of Māras like you coming to assemble here, / with arrows, blades, and fire attacks like wind and rain, / without first attaining Buddhahood I will never rise. / Māra has his primal vow to make me retreat, / but I also have sworn an oath never to return in vain. / Now, how does your field of merit compare to a Buddha's? / From this, one can know who shall gain victory."
