1.46

「『設復億姟神武備，為魔如汝來會此；
矢刃火攻如風雨，不先得佛終不起。
魔有本願令我退，吾亦自誓不虛還；
今汝福地何如佛，於是可知誰得勝！』

"‘Even if there were nayutas of divine martial armaments,
And demons like you came to assemble here;
Though arrows, blades, and fiery attacks come like wind and rain,
Unless I first attain Buddhahood, I shall never arise!
The Demon has his original wish to make me retreat;
I too have made my vow never to return in vain.
Now, how does your field of merit compare to a Buddha's?
By this, it will be known who wins the victory!’
