由此本緣名剎利種（樓炭云以是因緣從昔至今。起剎利種。中阿含經云。地主者謂剎利）。
From these primary causes, they were called the kṣatriya clan. (The Loutan jing says: Due to these causes and conditions, from antiquity to the present, the kṣatriya clan arose. The Madhyamāgama says: "Lord of the land" means kṣatriya.)
