祖既博涉多閑，善通梵漢之語，甞譯《惟逮》、《弟子本》、《五部僧》等三部經，又注《首楞嚴經》。又有別譯數部小經，值亂零失，不知其名。

As Bo Yuan was widely learned, multi-talented, and proficient in both Sanskrit and Chinese, he once translated three sūtras: the Weidai, the Diziben, and the Wubuseng, and also commented on the Śūraṅgama-sūtra. He also separately translated several short sūtras, but encountering wartime chaos, they were scattered and lost, and their titles are unknown.
