佛圖羅剎，不知何國人，德業純粹，該覽經典。久遊中土，善閑漢言，其宣譯梵，文見重符世。

Fotuluocha (Buddharakṣa) was a man of unknown country. His virtuous practice was pure and unadulterated, and he read the scriptures comprehensively. Having traveled in the central lands for a long time, he was proficient in the Chinese language. His proclamation of translations from Sanskrit texts was highly valued during the Fu era.
