Shi Huitong—it is unknown where he came from. During the Yuanjia reign of the Song, he was seen in Shouchun; his clothing was hurried and casual, his lodging unfixed, and he roamed through villages and hamlets, drinking, feasting, and eating no differently from ordinary people. He constantly called himself Cavalier Attendant Zheng, speaking of future events, which were quite often verified. In Jiangling there was a man named Bian Senggui who traveled for trade in Shouchun. When about to return home, he met Huitong on the road, who said he wished to entrust an item to him. Senggui was carrying a heavy burden himself at the time and firmly declined. Huitong then forcibly placed it on the carrying pole, yet it was not felt to be heavy at all. After walking several miles, they parted, and Huitong said to Senggui: 'I have an elder sister who is a nun in Jiangling, named Huixu, residing at Sanceng Temple; could you send word to her for me, saying that I wish to visit soon?' Having spoken, he suddenly vanished. Looking back at the carrying pole, the entrusted item was also gone.
