後臥疾少時，問侍者：「日中未？」答云：「已中。」乃索水漱口，顏貌怡然。忽爾從化，春秋八十矣。

Later he lay ill for a brief period and asked his attendant, 'Is it noon yet?' The attendant replied, 'It is already noon.' He then asked for water, rinsed his mouth, his countenance serene. Suddenly he passed away at the age of eighty.
