時有釋慧祐者，本丹徒人，年三十出家。厲身苦節，精尋律教。齊初入東山講《摩訶僧祇部》。齊竟陵王子良遣迎出都，仍止閑心寺焉。

At that time, there was Shi Huiyou, originally a native of Dantu, who went forth from the household at the age of thirty. He disciplined himself with austere practices and meticulously investigated the teachings of the Vinaya. In the early Qi period, he went to the eastern mountains to lecture on the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya. Prince Ziliang of Jingling in the Qi dynasty sent someone to welcome him to the capital, where he then stayed at Xianxin Temple.
