11.55

及暢下江陵，期亦隨從。十住觀門，所得已九。有師子奮迅三昧，唯此未盡。暢歎曰：「吾自西至流沙，北履幽漠，東探禹穴，南盡衡羅，唯見此一子特有禪分。」

When Chang went down to Jiangling, Qi also accompanied him. Of the contemplation gates of the ten abodes, he had already attained nine; only the Lion's Sprint Samādhi (siṃhavikrīḍita-samādhi) remained unexhausted. Chang sighed and said: 'From the west at the flowing sands, to the north treading the dark desert, in the east exploring Yu's cave, and to the south reaching the Heng and Luo rivers, I have seen only this single fellow who possesses such extraordinary aptitude for dhyāna.'
