11.81

贊白：禪那杳寂，正受淵深。假夫輟慮，方備幽尋。五門棄惡，九次叢林。枯鑠山海，聚散昇沈。茲德裕矣，如不勵心？

The encomium says: / Dhyāna is profound and serene, / [true] absorption deep and fathomless. / Only by relying on the cessation of thoughts / can one fully attain this abstruse quest. / The five gates discard evil, / the nine attainments are like a grove of trees. / Withering or melting mountains and seas, / gathering, dispersing, rising, and sinking. / This virtue is so bountiful— / how could one not exert one's mind?
