5.28

又有沙門道護，亦冀州人，貞節有慧解，亦隱飛龍山。與安等相遇，乃共言曰：「居靖離俗，每欲匡正大法，豈可獨步山門，使法輪輟軫。宜各隨力所被，以報佛恩。」眾僉曰：「善。」遂各行化。後不知所終。

There was also the śramaṇa Daohu, likewise a native of Jizhou, chaste in integrity and possessed of insightful understanding, who also lived in seclusion on Mount Feilong. When he met Dao'an and the others, he said to them: "Living in tranquility and withdrawing from the world, we have always wished to uphold and rectify the Great Dharma; how can we tread alone within mountain gates and let the wheel of the Dharma cease its turning? We should each go where our abilities allow, so as to repay the Buddha's kindness." The assembly all said: "Excellent!" Thereupon they each went forth to convert others. His end is not known.
