8.63

𭗵山廟巫夢神告曰：「吾已受戒於度法師，祠祀勿得殺戮。」由是廟用薦止菜脯而已。度嘗動散寢於地，見尚從外而來，以手摩頭足而去。頃之復來，持一琉璃甌，甌中如水以奉度，味甘而冷，度所苦即間。其徵感若此。

The shaman of the shrine on Mount She dreamed that the spirit told him, "I have already received the precepts from Dharma Master Fadu; in our sacrifices there must be no killing." From this time forward, the shrine's offerings were restricted to vegetables and dried meats only. Once, when Fadu was suffering from the dispersion of mineral powders and lay on the ground, he saw Shang come from outside, stroke his head and feet with his hand, and depart. Soon Shang returned holding a lapis lazuli bowl containing a liquid like water to present to Fadu; its taste was sweet and cold, and Fadu's affliction immediately subsided. Such were the miraculous responses he obtained.
