Liang's blessings and virtues drew offerings, which accumulated abundantly, but by nature he did not hoard gold, respectfully directing all of it toward meritorious deeds; after his death, no wealth was left in his room. On the fourth day of the tenth month of the eighth year of the Tianjian era, he died at Lingwei Temple, at the age of sixty-six. He was buried south of Mount Zhong, and a stele was erected at his tomb site. Zhou Xingsi of Chen Commandery and Gao Shuang of Guangling both composed texts, which were carved on the two sides of the stele. His disciple Fayun and others also erected a stele inside the temple, and Prince Wenxuan had his portrait painted at Puhong Temple.
