至迦濕彌羅國。薄暮次河，而無橋梁，畏浮空以濟。一日，受請於長者家，俄有羅漢降曰：「我小乘之人，大德是登地菩薩。」乃讓席推尊，畏施之以名衣，升空而去。畏復至烏萇國，有白鼠馴遶，日獻金錢。講毘盧於突厥之庭，安禪定於可敦之樹，法為金字，列在空中。時突厥宮人以手按乳，乳為三道飛注畏口。畏乃合掌端容曰：「我前生之母也。」

He arrived in the kingdom of Kaśmīra. Toward dusk, he halted by a river where there was no bridge, and he crossed by floating through the air. One day, he accepted an invitation to the house of an elder, when suddenly an arhat descended and said: "I am an adherent of the Hīnayāna; the Venerable is a bodhisattva who has ascended the stages." He then yielded his seat and offered deferential praise. Śubhakarasiṃha bestowed fine robes upon him, and he ascended into the air and departed. Śubhakarasiṃha next arrived in the kingdom of Uḍḍiyāna, where a tame white mouse circled him, daily offering gold coins. He expounded Vairocana in the court of the Turks and entered dhyāna beneath the tree of the Khatun, the Dharma appearing as golden characters arranged in midair. At that time, a Turkish palace woman pressed her breast with her hand, and the milk flowed forth in three streams flying into Śubhakarasiṃha's mouth. Śubhakarasiṃha then joined his palms, maintained a composed expression, and said: "She was my mother in a past life."
