悠悠玄機　茫茫至道　出生入死
孰為妙寶（其一）自昔藥王　殊化絕倫
往聞其說　今覩斯人（其二）英英沙門
慧定心固　凝神紫氣　表迹雙樹（其三）
其德可樂　其操可責　文之作矣
式颺髣髴（其四）

Boundless is the profound mystery, / Vast is the supreme Way. / Entering life and leaving death, / What is the wondrous treasure? (First) / Of old was Bhaiṣajyarāja, / Whose extraordinary transformation had no peer. / Formerly we heard of his account, / Now we behold this man. (Second) / Outstanding is this śramaṇa, / Whose wisdom, concentration, and mind were steadfast. / His focused spirit became purple vapor; / Manifesting a sign in the twin trees. (Third) / His virtue is to be rejoiced in; / His conduct is to be emulated. / Through the composition of this text, / May his presence be faintly proclaimed. (Fourth)
