10.37

寶滿三千大千界　供養十方諸如來
不如法華一句偈　受持讀誦得成佛
假使遍滿大千界　斷一切善毛道生
若聞法華一句偈　功德薰心速成佛

"Though one were to fill the trichiliocosm with jewels / And offer them to the Tathāgatas of the ten directions, / It would not equal a single four-line verse of the Lotus Sūtra; / Upholding, reading, and chanting it, one attains Buddhahood. / Even if beings with coarse habits who have severed all roots of good / Filled the great chiliocosm, / If they hear a single four-line verse of the Lotus Sūtra, / Its merit perfuming the mind, they will quickly become Buddhas."
