3.17

釋迦如來避世遠　流傳妙法值遇難
雖值解義亦為難　雖解講宣最為難
若聞是法一句偈　乃至須臾聞不謗
三世業障皆消滅　自然成佛道無疑

"Śākyamuni Tathāgata has departed far from this world; / The transmission of the Saddharma is difficult to encounter. / Though one may encounter it, understanding its meaning is also difficult; / Though one understands, expounding and proclaiming it is most difficult of all. / If one hears a single verse or gāthā of this Dharma, / Or hears it without slander for even a moment, / The karmic hindrances of the three times will all be extinguished, / And one will naturally achieve the Buddha Path without doubt.
