2.139

釋迦如來避世遠　流轉妙法值遇難
雖值解義亦為難　雖解講演眾為難
若聞是法一句偈　乃至須臾聞不謗
三世罪障皆消滅　自然成佛道無疑
吾今聞聽捨畜身　生在欲界第二天
威光勝於舊生天　勝利難思不可說

"Śākyamuni Tathāgata has long left the world; / The revolving Sublime Dharma is difficult to encounter. / Even if encountered, understanding its meaning is also difficult; / Even if understood, explaining and lecturing to the assembly is difficult. / If one hears a single phrase or verse of this Dharma, / Or even hears it for a single moment without slandering, / The sinful hindrances of the three periods of time will all be extinguished, / And one will naturally attain the Buddha path without doubt. / Having now heard and listened, I shed my beastly body / And was born in the second heaven of the desire realm; / My awe-inspiring radiance surpasses that of the old devas; / The superior benefits are difficult to conceive and cannot be expressed."
