贊曰。禮述妙宗。說淨觀。大弘台教。而臨終念佛坐逝。豈騰口說者。可同日語耶。
The eulogy says: Li composed the Miaozong, spoke of the pure contemplation, and greatly propagated the Tiantai teachings. Yet at the end of his life, through buddhamanasikāra, he passed away while seated. How could mere prattlers ever be spoken of in the same breath?
