贊曰。薰蕕不同器。寧有且造惡且念佛而得往生者乎。噫觀賴有此耳之一言。其於稱佛滅罪之語。蓋信入骨髓矣。即此一念。力重萬鈞。臨終轉業往生。又何疑哉。

In praise: Sweet-smelling herbs and foul-smelling weeds cannot share the same vessel; how could someone commit evil while simultaneously reciting the Buddha's name and attain rebirth? Ah! Looking at his single utterance, 'I rely solely on this,' his faith in the statement that reciting the Buddha's name eradicates karmic guilt must have reached his very marrow! This single thought possessed a weight of ten thousand jun. How could there be any doubt about his altering his karma and attaining rebirth on the verge of death?
