2.307

贊曰。郝父陳母。俱有青衣童子之祥。當生人天。既而一則佛現蓮臺。一則不忘西向。又當生淨土。二相俱時。生方未可定也。即不生。生且不遠矣。

The eulogy says: Both Father Hao and Mother Chen had the omen of boys in blue; they ought to have been born in the human or celestial realms. Yet afterwards, the one saw the Buddha appear on a lotus pedestal, and the other did not forget to face west; they ought also to have been born in the Pure Land. When the two signs appear at the same time, the direction of rebirth cannot yet be determined. Even if they were not reborn immediately, rebirth was not far off.
