贊曰。吳太史觀我居士。稱玗室歲產瑞芝。卒之歲。有大如斗者。如金如玉。如赤白輪。往生之祥可徵矣。為作孫叔子西生傳。太史長者。言無虛妄。因錄之。

The eulogy says: Senior Compiler Wu, Layman Guanwo, stated that auspicious fungi grew yearly in Dayu's room; in the year of his death, there was one as large as a peck measure, like gold, like jade, like red and white wheels. The omens of rebirth can indeed be verified. He composed *The Biography of Sun Shuzi's Rebirth in the West*. As the Senior Compiler was an elder, his words are without falsehood, so I recorded them.
