3.25

菩薩生地經云。佛言。時摩差竭。得不起法忍。五百清信士。二十五清信女。皆得不退轉地壽終。俱生無量壽佛清淨國。

The Bodhisattvas' Ground of Birth Sūtra says: The Buddha said, 'At that time, Makāśīsa attained the forbearance of non-arising phenomena (anutpattika-dharma-kṣānti). Five hundred upāsakas and twenty-five upāsikās all attained the stage of non-retrogression, and when their lifespans ended, they were all reborn in the pure realm of Amitāyus Buddha.'
