3.9

觀佛三昧經。佛記文殊。當生極樂。文殊發願偈云。願我命終時。滅除諸障礙。面見彌陀佛。往生安樂剎。生彼佛國已。滿足我大願。阿彌陀如來。現前授我記。

In the Samādhisāgara Sūtra, the Buddha prophesied that Mañjuśrī would be born in Sukhāvatī. Mañjuśrī's verse of making vows says:
'May I, when my life comes to an end,
Eliminate all obstacles,
See Amitābha Buddha face to face,
And be reborn in the Realm of Peace and Joy.
Having been born in that Buddha-land,
May I fulfill my great vows;
May Amitābha Tathāgata
Bestow prophecy upon me directly before my eyes.'
