建治元年（乙亥）六月四日（午時）於同院家新彌勒堂。合寫本等奉讀之畢。前權僧正宗性。聽眾。良曉得業。慶實法師。談義之後。即於當院家新學問所。為後覽記之。右筆華嚴宗末葉行道僧宗性。年齡七十四。夏臘六十二抑此料紙者。去文永三年之曆暮秋九月之候。後嵯峨天皇所降賜也。不慮之朝恩。面目頓餘身之間。漸漸取出之。以寫如此之要書寫。

On the fourth day of the sixth month of the first year of Kenji (yihai) (at the hour of the horse), at the New Maitreya Hall of this same cloister residence, having collated the copies and respectfully read them to the end, the former Provisional Junior Archbishop Gyōnen, along with the assembly of listeners—Tokugyō Ryōgyō and Dharma Master Keijitsu—after the discussion, immediately recorded this at the New Academic Cloister of this cloister residence for future inspection. The brush scribe: Gyōnen, a path-practicing monk of the latter branches of the Huayan school, aged seventy-four, with sixty-two monastic rains-retreats. Furthermore, regarding this paper: in the late autumn, the ninth month of the calendar year of Bun'ei 3, it was bestowed as a gift by Emperor Go-Saga. An unexpected imperial grace, while it immediately brought honor to my person, I have gradually taken it out to copy such essential texts.
