鳳翔府法門寺佛陀和尚。師常持一串數珠念三種名號曰。一釋迦。二元和。三佛陀。自餘是什麼椀躂丘。一箇過終而復始。事迹異常時人不可測。

Upādhyāya Fotuo of Famen Monastery in Fengxiang Prefecture.
The Master constantly held a string of counting beads, reciting three names, saying: “First, Śākya; second, Yuanhe; third, Fotuo. What bowl-shaped mounds are all the rest?” One completed, he would begin anew. His actions were unusual, and contemporaries could not fathom him.
