14.32

吉州性空禪師。有一僧來參。師乃展手示之。僧近前却退。師曰。父母俱喪略不慘顏。僧呵呵大笑。師曰。少間與闍梨舉哀。其僧打筋斗而出。師曰。蒼天蒼天。

Chan Master Xingkong of Jizhou. A monk came to call on him. The Master extended his hand to show him. The monk stepped forward and then stepped back. The Master said, "Both parents have died, yet your face is not at all mournful." The monk roared with laughter. The Master said, "In a short while, I will raise the wailing for the ācārya." That monk turned a somersault and went out. The Master said, "Blue heaven! Blue heaven!"
