15.44

盤山和尚（幽州第二世住）僧問。如何出得三界。師曰。在裏頭來多少時耶。曰如何出得。師曰。青山不礙白雲飛。問承教有言。如化人煩惱如石女兒。此理如何。師曰。闍梨直如石女兒去。

The monk of Mount Pan (who was the abbot of the second generation in Youzhou): A monk asked, "How does one escape the three realms?" / The Master said, "How long have you been inside them?" / The monk said, "How does one escape?" / The Master said, "The blue mountains do not obstruct the flying of white clouds." / A monk asked, "Following the teaching, it is said: 'Afflictions are like an illusory person, like the child of a barren woman.' What is the principle of this?" / The Master said, "Ācārya, just go on like the child of a barren woman!"
