17.64

新羅臥龍和尚。問如何是大人相。師曰。紫羅帳裏不垂手。曰為什麼不垂手。師曰。不尊貴。問十二時中如何用心。師曰。猢猻喫毛蟲。

Upādhyāya Woryong of Silla. [A monk] asked, "What are the marks of a great person?" The Master said, "Inside the purple gauze curtain, he does not let down his hand." [The monk] said, "Why does he not let down his hand?" The Master said, "It is not noble." [The monk] asked, "Throughout the twelve hours of the day, how should one employ the mind?" The Master said, "A monkey eats caterpillars."
