襄州鹿門山第二世譚和尚志行大師。僧問。如何是實際理地。師曰。南贍部洲北欝單越。曰恁麼則事同一家也。師曰。隔須彌在。問遠遠投師請師接。師曰。從什麼處來。曰江北來。師曰。南堂裏安下。問如何是清淨法身。師曰。戌亥年生。

Great Master Zhixing, Upādhyāya Tan the Second Generation of Mount Lumen in Xiangzhou. A monk asked, “What is the ground of ultimate reality?” The Master said, “Jambudvīpa in the south, Uttarakuru in the north.” The monk said, “If so, then things belong to one family.” The Master said, “Sumeru still stands in between.” The monk asked, “Having come from afar to take refuge in the Master, please, Master, receive me.” The Master said, “Where do you come from?” The monk said, “From north of the river.” The Master said, “Settle down in the south hall.” The monk asked, “What is the pure Dharma body?” The Master said, “Born in the years of the Dog and the Boar.”
