襄州谷隱智靜悟空大師。僧問。如何是和尚轉身處。師曰。臥單子下。問如何是道。師曰。鳳林關下。曰學人不會。師曰。直至荊南。問如何是指歸之路。師曰。莫用伊。曰還使學人到也無。師曰。什麼處著得汝。問靈山一會何異今時。師曰。不異如今。曰不異底事作麼生。師曰。如來密旨迦葉不傳。

Great Master Wukong, Zhijing of Guyin in Xiangzhou. A monk asked, “What is the Upādhyāya’s turning-place?” The Master said, “Beneath the sleeping mat.” The monk asked, “What is the Way?” The Master said, “Below Fenglin Pass.” The monk said, “I do not understand.” The Master said, “Straight to Jingnan.” The monk asked, “What is the road that points to the return?” The Master said, “Do not use it.” The monk asked, “Does it still allow the student to arrive?” The Master said, “Where is there room to place you?” The monk asked, “How does the single assembly on Vulture Peak differ from the present time?” The Master said, “It is no different from right now.” The monk said, “What about the matter that is not different?” The Master said, “The Tathāgata’s secret intent was not transmitted by Kāśyapa.”
