24.33

郢州興陽山道欽禪師（第二世住）僧問。如何是興陽境。師曰。松竹乍栽山影綠。水流穿過院庭中。問如何是佛。師曰。更是什麼。

Chan Master Daoqin of Mount Xingyang in Yingzhou (the second generation abbot). A monk asked, "What is the environment of Xingyang?" The Master said, "Pines and bamboos just planted, the mountain shadows are green; flowing water runs through the courtyard of the cloister." [The monk] asked, "What is the Buddha?" The Master said, "What else could it be?"
