24.32

連州慈雲普廣大師慧深。僧問。匿王請佛既奉法於當時。我后延師蓋興宗於此日。幸施方便無悋舉揚。師曰。不煩再問。問如何是人圓鏡。師曰著。問如何是向上事。師曰。分明聽取。

Great Master Puguang Huishen of Ciyun in Lianzhou. A monk asked, "King Prasenajit invited the Buddha and thereby revered the Dharma in that time; our sovereign invites the Master, presumably to revive the school on this day. Fortunately bestowed with skillful means, do not begrudge raising and displaying it." The Master said, "Do not trouble yourself to ask again." [The monk] asked, "What is the round mirror of man?" The Master said, "Wear it." [The monk] asked, "What is the transcendental matter?" The Master said, "Listen clearly."
