潭州鹿苑文襲禪師。僧問。遠遠投師請師接。師曰。五門巷裏無消息。僧良久。師曰。會麼。曰不會。師曰。長樂坡頭信不通。

Chan Master Wenxi of Luyuan in Tanzhou. A monk asked: "Coming from afar to turn to the Master, please receive me, Master." The Master said: "In the alley of five gates there is no news." The monk remained silent for a long time. The Master said: "Do you understand?" The monk said: "I do not understand." The Master said: "At the top of Changle Slope, communication is cut off."
