26.25

荊門上泉和尚。僧問。二龍爭珠誰是得者。師曰。我得。問遠遠投師如何一接。師接杖視之。其僧禮拜。師便喝。問尺璧無瑕時如何。師曰。我不重。曰不重後如何。師曰。火裏螂蟉飛上天。

Upādhyāya Shangquan of Jingmen. A monk asked, "When two dragons contend for a jewel, who is the winner?" The Master said, "I win." [The monk] asked, "Having come from afar to seek refuge with the Master, how will you receive me?" The Master took [his] staff and looked at him. The monk bowed. The Master then shouted. [A monk] asked, "How is it when a foot-wide jade has no flaw?" The Master said, "I do not value it." [The monk] said, "How is it after not valuing it?" The Master said, "The firefly in the fire flies up to heaven."
