The master spoke the verse of entrustment, bathed his body with fragrant water, changed clothes, and sat peacefully. He ordered the coffin to be carried to the room, and after a good while, entered the coffin by himself. After three days passed, his disciple and Ācārya Yu of the temple opened the coffin without permission to view him. The master was lying auspiciously on his right side. The fourfold assembly wept in sorrow, so the master rose again, ascended the hall, preached the Dharma, and severely admonished them, saying, "Whoever opens my coffin again this time is not my son!" Having finished speaking, he entered the coffin again and departed forever.
