"Just this mind, mind, mind is Buddha— / The most marvelous being in the worlds of the ten directions. / How charming its boundless, wonderful function! / Nothing is as real as the mind. / Soaring and free, doing nothing at all, / Leisurely and untroubled—a consummate monastic. / If you behold the true Great Way right before your eyes, / Not seeing the finest hair is also vastly wondrous. / How do the ten thousand phenomena differ, how is the mind distinct? / Why labor further in searching through sutra meanings? / The Mind-King originally puts an end to excessive knowledge; / The wise only illuminate the ground of no-learning. / Neither sacred nor mundane—what else could it be? / Without forced discrimination, the sacred mind stands alone. / The priceless mind-pearl is fundamentally round and pure; / All diverse appearances are called delusions in vain. / If a person can magnify the Way, the Way is clear and bright; / Boundlessly pure and lofty, it accords with the Way-mind. / Carrying brocade along the road back to your native land, / Have no worry that your fame will not be heard everywhere."
