聖僧像被屋漏滴。有人問。既是聖僧為什麼有漏（天台國師代云。無漏不是聖僧）。

An image of the sacred monk was dripped on by a roof leak (youlou). Someone asked, "Since he is a sacred monk, why is he subject to leaks (youlou, i.e. outflows)?" (National Teacher of Tiantai gave the substitution: "Without leaks/outflows, he would not be a sacred monk.")
