27.56

歸宗柔和尚問僧。看什麼經。曰寶積經。柔曰。既是沙門為什麼看寶積。無對（柔自代云。古今用無極）。

Upādhyāya Guizong Rou asked a monk, "What sūtra are you reading?" The monk said, "The Ratnakūṭa Sūtra." Rou said, "Since you are a śramaṇa, why do you read the 'Accumulation of Jewels' (Baoji)?" The monk had no reply. (Rou substituted for him, saying: "From past to present, its use is inexhaustible.")
