奇哉一靈叟。那頓許吺吺（音兜）。風起引箜篌。迷子爭頭湊。設使總不是。蝦蟇大張口。開口不開口。終是犯靈叟。欲識箇中意。南星真北斗。

Wondrous indeed is the single spiritual elder! / Why indulge in so much chatter? / When the wind rises, it plays the konghou harp; / Deluded children vie to gather round. / Even if it were entirely amiss, / The toad opens its mouth wide. / Opening the mouth or not opening the mouth, / In the end both offend the spiritual elder. / If you wish to know the meaning within this: / The Southern Star is truly the Northern Dipper.
