29.16

食時辰。無明本是釋迦身。坐臥不知元是道。只麼忙忙受苦辛。認聲色覓疎親。只是他家染污人。若擬將心求佛道。問取虛空始出塵。

At breakfast, the hour of chen: / Fundamental ignorance is Śākyamuni's body. / Sitting and lying, unaware that it was originally the Way, / Just so in haste one undergoes bitter hardship. / Recognizing sounds and forms to seek the distant and near, / One is merely a defiled person of their house. / If you intend to use the mind to seek the Buddha-Way, / Inquire of empty space before you leave the dust.
