29.22

黃昏戌。狂子興功投暗室。假使心通無量時。歷劫何曾異今日。擬商量却啾唧。轉使心頭黑如漆。晝夜舒光照有無。癡人喚作波羅蜜。

At twilight, the hour of xu: / The mad child initiates effort and enters a dark room. / Even if the mind penetrates measureless time, / Through kalpas past, when was it ever different from today? / Intending to deliberate, one is instead troubled and chirping, / Causing the mind to turn as black as lacquer. / Day and night, shedding radiance, it shines on being and non-being; / Foolish people call it pāramitā.
