了妄歸真萬慮空。河沙凡聖體通同。迷來盡似蛾投焰。悟去皆如鶴出籠。片月影分千㵎水。孤松聲任四時風。直須密契心心地。休苦勞生睡夢中。

Comprehending delusion and returning to truth, myriad thoughts are empty; / Numberless as Ganges sands, commoners and sages are identical in substance. / When deluded, all are like moths throwing themselves into flames; / When enlightened, all are like cranes escaping the cage. / The crescent moon divides its reflection in a thousand mountain streams; / The solitary pine leaves its sound to the winds of the four seasons. / You must directly and secretly accord with the ground of mind-mind; / Cease bitter toil in the midst of life's slumbering dream.
