袁州龍興居嶽禪師。僧問。師唱誰家曲宗風嗣阿誰。師曰。自從達磨分流後。萬派都歸是一家。云學人未曉請師直指。師曰。集雲峯下四藤條。

Chan Master Juyue of Longxing in Yuanzhou. A monk asked, 'Whose melody does the Master sing? Whose lineage style do you succeed to?' The Master said, 'Since Bodhidharma's stream divided, the myriad branches have all returned to a single family.' The monk said, 'The student does not understand; please, Master, point it out directly.' The Master said, 'Beneath Cloud Gathering Peak, four rattan canes.'
