潼川府梅山已禪師。僧問。如何是法身邊事。師曰。枯木糝花不犯春。曰如何是法身向上事。師曰。石女不粧眉。
Chan Master Yi of Meishan in Tongchuan Prefecture: A monk asked, 'What is the matter on the side of the Dharmakāya?' The Master said, 'A withered tree sprinkled with blossoms does not encroach on spring.' The monk asked, 'What is the matter beyond the Dharmakāya?' The Master said, 'The stone woman does not paint her eyebrows.'
