24.47

臨江軍慧力悟禪師上堂。一切聲是佛聲。簷前雨滴響冷冷。一切色是佛色。覿面相呈諱不得。便恁麼若為明。碧天雲外月華清。

Chan Master Huili Wu of Linjiang Commandery ascended the hall and said, 'All sounds are the Buddha's voice: before the eaves, raindrops resound crisp and cool. All forms are the Buddha's form: manifested face-to-face, they cannot be concealed. Even so, how will you understand it? Beyond the clouds in the azure sky, the moonlight is pure.'
