台州天封覺禪師上堂。無生國裏未是安居。萬仞崖頭豈容駐足。且望空撒手直下翻身一句作麼生道。人逢好事精神爽。入火真金色轉鮮。

Chan Master Jue of Tianfeng in Taizhou ascended the hall and said, "In the land of the unborn, it is not yet a secure dwelling. At the peak of a myriad-fathom cliff, how can one be permitted to halt one's feet? Moreover, how do you say a single phrase on letting go of your hands into the empty void and turning your body right around? When a person encounters a happy event, their spirits are refreshed; / Entering fire, pure gold becomes all the more vivid in color."
