江州廬山圓通守慧冲真密印通慧禪師上堂。但知今日復明日。不覺前秋與後秋。平步坦然歸故里。却乘好月過滄洲。咦不是苦心人不知。

Chan Master Yuantong Shouhui Chongzhen Miyin Tonghui of Mount Lu in Jiangzhou ascended the hall: / "Only knowing today and then tomorrow, / Unaware of the previous autumn and the next autumn. / Walking on level ground, at ease returning to one's native village; / Then boarding the fine moon to cross the blue islands. / Bah! It is known only to one who has taken pains."
