鎮江金山善開禪師字掩室。上堂舉密庵破沙盆話頌云。法眼拈來早自謾。無端錯對破沙盆。而今遍界難遮掩。殃害叢林累子孫。

Chan Master Shankai of Mount Jin in Zhenjiang was styled Yanshi. Ascending the hall, he cited Mi'an's phrase about the broken basin, making a verse: 'When Fayan brought it forth, he had already deceived himself; / For no reason, he faced the broken basin in error. / Now, throughout the whole world, it is hard to cover or hide; / It brings calamity upon the monasteries, entangling descendants.'
